(Proverbs 27:6NIV) Wounds from a friend can be trusted.
(Deuteronomy 32:39 NKJV) ‘Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.
Salt and light set on a hill,
Beaming down to, dead men, kill.
Wounded by light, healed by it, too.
Where can I flee? What can I do?
I must learn it’s pain to embrace,
Knowing this slap upon my face
Made by a friend, perfect ordained,
Will open dead eyes to heaven’s gain.
Just like a babe, earth’s entrance makes,
Sometimes a slap to life awakes!
(Hosea 6:1 NKJV) Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
