O Child, who’s beauty shines so bright,
who’s heart is filled with My True Light,
who’s mind shines forth like crystal salt,
in whom resides nothing false,
rest awhile here under My wing,
and in My praises let me hear you sing.
For in your soul is My delight,
as on My Son you set your sights.
For He is My Glory, My Son above,
sent to earth, an outpouring of love.
In Him, I staked my claim for all to see,
you are My Child – you belong to Me.
By faith you believe in The Divine.
You are a branch of the Glorious Vine.
I nourish, wash, and carry you,
give you the ability to bear good fruit.
Remain, abide, and rest in Me,
My Child, once blind, but now who sees.
This poem was given to me during my devotion and prayer time this morning. The words came into my mind so fast I cried, “Wait! Wait! This is too beautiful! I need to write it down!” 🙂 It takes some kind of faith to believe through my feelings of utter worthlessness that God actually sees me this way. He is a good God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three persons – One God, only.
