The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against his Anointed One.’ Acts 4:26
Our current leadership is drunk on it. You can see it in their eyes. You can sense it in their demeanor. You can see it in their body language.
Lies breed earthly power.
Lies fueled by the delusional. Lies fueled by the willfully obstinate. Lies fueled by the blind, deaf, and dumb. Lies fueled by the arrogant.
Did you know that there could be such power?
Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Psalm 2:10
He breaks the spirit of rulers; he is feared by the kings of the earth. Psalm 76:12
Did you know that leaders would have no power if not given to them by The One True Power?
So Pilate said to Jesus, “Aren’t you going to answer me? Don’t you know that I have the authority to free you or to crucify you?” Jesus answered Pilate, “You wouldn’t have any authority over me if it hadn’t been given to you from above. John 19:10-11
How does the theory (and that’s all it is!) of evolution explain the existence of the unseen force of power?
I am praying the forces of evil in this realm are conquered come November, and that The One True Power would restore and establish a True Godly Spiritual Head over His

Power has been a key word that Jesus has kept in front of my face for the last two weeks. Especially as it is used in Ephesians 3…
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21
I never caught the use of the word “power” in the verse “you may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ”
Because we live in a fallen sinful world ruled by the power and authority of the enemy of our souls….
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12
…we can’t even get a hint of God’s power without God’s help.
Is there a hint in the following verses?
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
I think so!
1. A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing; our helper he amid the flood of mortal ills prevaling. For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe; his craft and power are great, and armed with cruel hate, on earth is not his equal. 2. Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing, were not the right man on our side, the man of God's own choosing. Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is he; Lord Sabaoth, his name, from age to age the same, and he must win the battle. 3. And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us, we will not fear, for God hath willed his truth to triumph through us. The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him; his rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure; one little word shall fell him. 4. That word above all earthly powers, no thanks to them, abideth; the Spirit and the gifts are ours, thru him who with us sideth. Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also; the body they may kill; God's truth abideth still; his kingdom is forever.
God, You hide your Almighty Power from the arrogant and worldly wise and reveal it to little children. Slap the face of our enemy and break the teeth of the wicked!!! May we, with Your power, grasp the love of Jesus as he poured himself out on the cross for our sin for it is simply to His cross I cling. There is power in Your blood, Lord, and in you I find refuge. In Jesus powerful name, Amen.
