If you could be steward of one thing in the world…

…what would it be?  The White House?  The UN? All McDonald’s?  The Statue of Liberty? Fort Knox?  All Chuckie Cheese’s?  Wall Street?  The Hope Diamond? The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?  University of Michigan’s Big House?  Lord Stanley’s Cup?

What would you want to steward if you could pick one thing in the world to watch over?

I ask the question because I just recently found out in a new way that I am a steward of something very precious and amazing; God’s grace.

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.  1 Peter 4:10

I’ve known for a long time that I have spiritual gifts, but I did not realize until it was taught to me in this way that when I use those gifts according to the Holy Spirit, then I am a steward of God’s grace.  What an amazing thing to steward!!!

What is your spiritual gift?  How would this world be different changed, dramatically transformed if you faithfully administered God’s grace to others?

If you do not know what your spiritual gifts are I encourage to speak to your Pastor and find out.  It is important to your faith to know what God has gifted you with so that His power can be used through you to bring him glory.  Isn’t that what Jesus’ death and resurrection is all about?

Oh Jesus, my Jesus!  Thank you for your grace that has set me free from bondage to sin death and the devil.  What darkness you have brought me out of and what beauty is your Light!  Through the power of the Holy Spirit at work in me help me to steward your grace to others so that they too may see and live and bring glory to your name.  The name above all names.  Jesus.  Amen

About lifevine

Hi! My name is Amy. I am a former atheist and, for a season, practiced witchcraft. God drew me out of darkness 17 years ago and gave me the spiritual gifts of knowing and faith. He gives me daily encouragement and affirmation and I hope to share Him with you. If you have not yet met the one true God, His name is Jesus Christ, and may I be the first to introduce you to Him? He is the Restorative Savior God promised Adam and Eve 6,000 years ago (Genesis 3:15) after they had sinned in the garden, bringing separation from God because of disobedience. It is rightly reported that a little over 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem He was born of a virgin, lived a blameless perfect life in and around Jerusalem, died on a cross on Golgotha for the world's sin, and 3 days later rose again. YES! ROSE AGAIN! AMAZING! Please get baptized in His name, and walk in an eternal restored fellowship with Christ. You can get to know Him by reading, marking, and inwardly digesting His Word.... His Holy Bible.
