The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Wisdom comes only from God (The Holy Bible.)
Wisdom recognizes and defines sin.
Recognizing sin leads to examining what sin is and where sin is.
is uncomfortable and exposes sin.
Exposing sin leads to scrutinizing every word and action.
Scrutinizing leads to the discovery that every word and action is tainted with sin.
Discovery of this leads to the need for a Savior to confess to.
The need for a Savior leads to Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ leads to the cross.
The cross leads to Heaven.
The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”
Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe, Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified. 1 Cor 1:19
Jesus, I am utterly stupid without you; a fool. Let me be a fool for you, Christ, instead. It is better to bear the cross now than to bear the pain of eternity apart from the God of love. Amen
