Sweet Addiction

Focus your every thought on Me.  Fix your eyes on Me.  Staid, fix your heart on Me; Jesus.  I am the Christ, The Messiah.  The Savior of the world.  I am your sweet addiction.  Like honey in the comb, fresh milk, crisp sweet grapes clustered on the vine, fresh warm bread from the hearth.  Be addicted to Me.  In this world you will be pulled and pushed in every direction and your mind will be buffeted with doubt and the desire to addict yourself to the things of this world.  This world holds no anchor.  This world will pass away and be no more.  The world hangs on My Word.  Be addicted to what the world hangs on.  Be addicted to the unseen where the anchor holds firm beyond the veil.  Fix your eyes on Me.  I am the only Fix you need.  I will fix your need.  Take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ.

About lifevine

Hi! My name is Amy. I am a former atheist and, for a season, practiced witchcraft. God drew me out of darkness 17 years ago and gave me the spiritual gifts of knowing and faith. He gives me daily encouragement and affirmation and I hope to share Him with you. If you have not yet met the one true God, His name is Jesus Christ, and may I be the first to introduce you to Him? He is the Restorative Savior God promised Adam and Eve 6,000 years ago (Genesis 3:15) after they had sinned in the garden, bringing separation from God because of disobedience. It is rightly reported that a little over 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem He was born of a virgin, lived a blameless perfect life in and around Jerusalem, died on a cross on Golgotha for the world's sin, and 3 days later rose again. YES! ROSE AGAIN! AMAZING! Please get baptized in His name, and walk in an eternal restored fellowship with Christ. You can get to know Him by reading, marking, and inwardly digesting His Word.... His Holy Bible.

An unhealthy addiction is such a sly thing. You become addicted without even realizing it and it may seem to take on a power all of it’s own. The lie is that you are stuck with that addiction. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, which is available as soon as we receive Christ as our Lord & Savior, freedom is available. To me to be addicted to Christ means that everytime I feel out of control, afraid, sad, lonely etc. He will be the place I turn. Only in Him will I find a lasting release that comes from His healing power. Thank you for helping me see that I can be “Addicted to Christ”.
